Experience and excellent skills
Training or proven practice in grooming, confident scissor and clipper technique, clean finishes to breed standard.
A true love of animals
Calm, patience and a fine sense for each dog, especially anxious, old or very young ones. No dog is ever rushed with us.
Care and diligence
You pay attention to skin, ears, claws and signs of stress, work hygienically and tell owners honestly what their dog needs.
Without grooming experience, unfortunately we cannot hire you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the salary gross?
Yes. All amounts are gross salaries in permanent employment. Full-time at 40 hours per week, up to €4,000 per month is possible, depending on your experience and skills.
Can I also work part-time?
Yes. Part-time is possible from one or two fixed days per week. The salary calculator shows what that means gross.
How much experience do I need?
You should be able to work independently and confidently: bathing, blow-drying, scissor and clipper cuts. Training or a certificate is welcome, but what counts are the photos of your work and the trial day. Without grooming experience, unfortunately we cannot hire you.
I don't live in Berlin yet. Can I still apply?
Yes. Tell us in your application whether and when you would like to move to Berlin. We'll then arrange the trial day with you.
Which photos should I upload?
Photos of dogs you groomed yourself, ideally before and after. Phone photos are perfectly fine, what matters is that the cut and finish are clearly visible.
What happens to my data?
We use your details and photos exclusively for your application and do not pass them on. More in our privacy policy.
