The puppy introduction groom is the first salon visit for puppies up to 10 kg, from their second vaccination. We bathe, blow-dry and comb, trim nails and care for eyes and paws, without a haircut. It costs 59 € up to 3 kg and 89 € up to 10 kg.

The salon should feel good.
Your puppy gets to sniff around and settle in first. Then we introduce them to the water, hairdryer and comb step by step. We work calmly, give lots of praise and take breaks as soon as they need them.
We gently take care of their nails, eyes and paws, too. There is no haircut on the first visit. This helps your puppy associate the salon with something pleasant, making future appointments much more relaxed.

Questions about puppy grooming
When can my puppy come for their puppy introduction groom?
After their second vaccination, usually at around 12 to 16 weeks. Please bring their vaccination card. The earlier your puppy gets to know the salon in a calm way, the more relaxed their future appointments will be.
How much does puppy grooming cost?
59 € for puppies up to 3 kg and 89 € up to 10 kg. The price is fixed and includes bathing, blow-drying, combing, nail clipping, and tidying the eyes, paws and hygiene area.
Will my puppy get a haircut during this visit?
No. The introduction groom is deliberately done without a haircut to keep their first visit short and pleasant. We usually plan their first proper haircut one or two appointments later.
How do I book a puppy introduction groom?

How often should a puppy visit the dog groomer?
For the introduction phase, two to three short appointments spaced four to six weeks apart are ideal. After that, as their coat grows, a grooming session every six to eight weeks is sufficient.
What's the difference to Junior Grooming?
Junior Grooming is a full groom with a haircut for small dogs up to 10 kg at a fixed price of 60 or 75 €. The puppy introduction groom is their first visit without a haircut, with plenty of time to get to know each other.
