Dog grooming Berlin: Full groom
The Full Groom is our complete grooming package for dogs of all breeds and sizes in Berlin. It costs from 79 € and takes 90 to 180 minutes. It includes bathing, blow-drying, brushing, a breed-standard haircut or clipping, as well as nails, eyes, paws, ears and sanitary area.

Who is it for?
Ideal every 6 to 8 weeks for Poodles, Doodles, Bichons, Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers and Shih Tzus, meaning all breeds with continuously growing coats. Short-haired dogs come in every 8 to 12 weeks.

Regular grooming keeps the coat mat-free and ensures the appointment is short and relaxed. We will give you the final price before we start, once we have assessed your dog in person. All starting prices are on our pricing page, and we explain the appointment step by step under process.
Deshedding (removing undercoat)
Deshedding means we remove the loose undercoat before it sheds around your home or gets matted. This applies to dogs with a double coat, such as Golden Retrievers, Samoyeds, Huskies, Australian Shepherds, Spitzes, and Pomeranians.
We wash thoroughly, blow out the loose undercoat with a powerful dog dryer, and then brush through layer by layer. We never clip double coats, as shaving can damage the coat structure and its natural heat protection. Deshedding is included in the Full Groom for double-coated dogs.

Frequently asked questions about the Full Groom in Berlin
Do you also remove the undercoat (deshedding)?
Yes. For dogs with a double coat, we remove the loose undercoat during washing, blow-drying, and brushing. We never clip double coats. Find out more in the Deshedding section.
How much does a Full Groom cost at a dog groomer in Berlin?

Dog clipping Berlin: When is a clip necessary?
Clipping is necessary if the coat is heavily matted or if the breed suits a short clip. We usually scissor-cut Poodles, Doodles and Bichons into a Teddy-Cut. We never clip the dense double coat of a Pomeranian. You can read about what helps with matting under matted dog, what to do.
How long does the Full Groom take?
Allow 90 to 180 minutes, depending on your dog's size, coat condition and temperament. We never overbook and we take breaks if your dog needs them. You can find the exact step-by-step process under process.
How often should my dog come in for a Full Groom?
Breeds with continuously growing coats come in every 6 to 8 weeks, short-haired dogs every 8 to 12 weeks. Pomeranians and Spitzes come in every 6 to 10 weeks and should be brushed at home several times a week. You can find guidelines for each breed under how often to visit the dog groomer.
What cuts are possible for Poodles and Doodles?
