Good to know before you visit.
A Full Groom takes 90 to 180 minutes depending on size, coat condition and breed. Small breeds like Chihuahuas or Yorkshires are usually done in 90 minutes. Large or very anxious dogs need up to three hours. After an assessment, you'll get a fixed time and price quote.
GroomRoom is located at Giesebrechtstraße 2 in Charlottenburg, between Kurfürstendamm and Wilmersdorfer Straße. By underground: U7 Adenauerplatz (5 minutes on foot) or U1/U9 Kurfürstendamm (10 minutes). By car: You can find parking on Giesebrechtstraße and Brandenburgische Straße.
We work calmly, with breaks and no time pressure. Our team is experienced with nervous, anxious and newly adopted dogs. Let us know when booking so we can schedule extra time. Very anxious dogs can have a second person by their side by arrangement. Read more about this under Process.
We use pH-neutral natural products from LT and Ecopets that are gentle on the skin and coat. We cut with Aesculap tools and bathe in the Hydra tub. We select products for each dog individually to suit their coat type and skin condition.

That depends on the coat type. Poodles, Doodles, Bichons, Malteses, Yorkshires and Shih Tzus come every 6 to 8 weeks. Short-haired dogs every 8 to 12 weeks. Pomeranians and Spitzes every 6 to 10 weeks, plus brushing at home several times a week. Hand-stripping every 8 to 12 weeks depending on the breed. Our prices are starting prices and depend on size, weight, coat condition and breed. Regularly groomed, mat-free dogs are usually at the lower end of the range. De-matting costs from 15 € per 15 minutes started, and there is a 20 € surcharge for Pomeranians. We will discuss any extra charges with you before we start. All details are in the price list.
Small breeds like Chihuahua, Maltese, Yorkshire or Shih Tzu start at 79 € for a Full Groom. Medium breeds like Bichon, Cocker, Cavalier, Pug or Dachshund sit in the middle range. Large breeds like Golden Retriever, Labrador or Bernese Mountain Dog are at the upper end. A regularly groomed Spitz up to 5 kg costs 129 €, for example, and a very anxious Golden Retriever is 209 to 240 €. Just pop by, we provide free and no-obligation estimates.
