Dog groomer Berlin: which district you're visiting us from

Our dog grooming salon in Berlin has a single location, and you can reach it from most districts with at most one change. It's located at Giesebrechtstraße 2 in Charlottenburg, between Kurfürstendamm and Wilmersdorfer Straße. The U7 stops a five-minute walk away at Adenauerplatz and runs direct from Spandau, Wilmersdorf, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg and Neukölln. From Zehlendorf, Steglitz, Lichtenrade, Tempelhof, Mitte and Pankow, you usually only need to change once. You can find parking on Giesebrechtstraße and Brandenburgische Straße.

One salon in Charlottenburg for dogs from all over Berlin

We don't have branches in Spandau, Zehlendorf or Neukölln; every appointment is with us in Charlottenburg. We've been at this location between Kurfürstendamm and Wilmersdorfer Straße since 2022. Many districts have their own dog grooming salons, and a short trip is a great reason to choose the salon around the corner. This article is for owners who specifically want to travel to us.

We're open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 18, and the salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays. From the Adenauerplatz underground station on the U7, it's a five-minute walk to Giesebrechtstraße 2. How to reach us from your district

The following routes take you to the Adenauerplatz underground station or Kurfürstendamm station. We deliberately haven't included travel times, as they depend heavily on your starting address and connections. Please check your route with the BVG before you travel, as construction work can disrupt certain lines.

Spandau

From Spandau, the U7 is the easiest way to reach our dog grooming salon. You can get on at Rathaus Spandau, Altstadt Spandau or Zitadelle and travel directly to Adenauerplatz without changing. The U7 also runs straight through from Haselhorst, Paulsternstraße and Rohrdamm. So if you're looking for a dog groomer in Spandau, it's just one single train ride to get to us.

Steglitz-Zehlendorf: Zehlendorf and Steglitz

There are two good ways to reach us from Zehlendorf. Take the U3 from Krumme Lanke, Onkel Toms Hütte or Oskar-Helene-Heim to Fehrbelliner Platz. Change there to the U7 and you'll be at Adenauerplatz in two stops. Alternatively, take the S1 from Zehlendorf or Mexikoplatz to Rathaus Steglitz and change there to the U9.

From Steglitz, the U9 is the direct line to Kurfürstendamm. It runs from Rathaus Steglitz and Schloßstraße without changing straight to Kurfürstendamm station. From there it's a ten-minute walk, or you can change earlier at Berliner Straße to the U7 to Adenauerplatz. Tempelhof-Schöneberg: Lichtenrade, Tempelhof and Schöneberg

Schöneberg is right on the U7, so from Kleistpark, Eisenacher Straße and Bayerischer Platz you can travel directly to Adenauerplatz without changing. From the north of Schöneberg, the U1 takes you straight from Nollendorfplatz to Kurfürstendamm station. From Tempelhof and Mariendorf, take the U6 to Mehringdamm and change there to the U7 towards Rathaus Spandau.

We don't have a dog grooming salon in Lichtenrade, but the S2 makes getting to us easy. Take the S2 to Yorckstraße and change there to the U7. From there it's a direct ride to Adenauerplatz, and then just a five-minute walk.

Neukölln

Neukölln is directly connected to Charlottenburg via the U7. You can get on at Hermannplatz, Rathaus Neukölln or Karl-Marx-Straße. From Britz and Rudow, the U7 also runs directly through Kreuzberg, Schöneberg and Wilmersdorf to Adenauerplatz without changing. Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf: Wilmersdorf, Westend and Kudamm

Wilmersdorf is right on our doorstep. From Blissestraße, Fehrbelliner Platz and Konstanzer Straße, the U7 takes you to Adenauerplatz in just a few stops. From the south of Wilmersdorf, take the U3 from Rüdesheimer Platz or Heidelberger Platz to Fehrbelliner Platz and change there.

From Westend, take the U2 from Theodor-Heuss-Platz, Neu-Westend or Kaiserdamm to Bismarckstraße. Change there to the U7 and you'll be at Adenauerplatz in two stops. If you live or work on the Kudamm, you can simply walk, as Giesebrechtstraße branches right off Kurfürstendamm. The M19 and M29 buses also run along Kurfürstendamm and stop at Adenauerplatz.

Mitte and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg

From Mitte, take the U2 from Alexanderplatz, Stadtmitte or Potsdamer Platz to Bismarckstraße and change there to the U7. A second option is the S-Bahn via the Stadtbahn to Charlottenburg station. There you change to the U7 at Wilmersdorfer Straße station and travel one stop to Adenauerplatz. From Moabit and Wedding, the U9 takes you straight from Turmstraße or Leopoldplatz to Kurfürstendamm station.

Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg have a direct line to Kurfürstendamm with the U1. It runs from Warschauer Straße via Schlesisches Tor, Kottbusser Tor and Hallesches Tor to Kurfürstendamm station. From the south of Kreuzberg, take the U7 from Mehringdamm, Gneisenaustraße or Südstern directly to Adenauerplatz. From Friedrichshain, the S-Bahn also runs from Ostkreuz, Warschauer Straße and Ostbahnhof to Charlottenburg.

Pankow and Prenzlauer Berg

The U2 connects Pankow and Prenzlauer Berg to the west of the city without changing. You can get on at Pankow station, Schönhauser Allee, Eberswalder Straße or Senefelderplatz. At Bismarckstraße, change to the U7 and travel two stops to Adenauerplatz. It's a long journey, but you only have to change trains once.

Tips for a longer journey with your dog

A long journey across the city is often more exhausting for dogs than the grooming itself. With a little planning, your dog will arrive relaxed and head home freshly groomed.

1. Choose a time slot outside rush hour: We open at 10 am, so a morning appointment usually misses the commuter traffic. If possible, plan the pick-up before the evening rush hour.
2. Go for a walk before the journey: A walk and a toilet break burn off energy, helping your dog arrive calmer at our salon.
3. Don't feed right before: A large meal shortly before the journey and appointment can cause unnecessary stress.
4. Pack collar, lead and treats: Familiar smells like a favourite blanket give sensitive dogs a sense of security on the way.
5. Check the rules for buses and trains: Find out about the BVG's conditions for travelling with dogs beforehand.
6. Remember a clean blanket for after the grooming: Your dog will be bathed and blow-dried, so a fresh blanket in the car or on the train keeps their coat clean.
7. Use the waiting time in the neighbourhood: A Full Groom takes 90 to 180 minutes, which is plenty of time for errands on Kurfürstendamm or Wilmersdorfer Straße.

Many owners stay in the neighbourhood during the grooming and grab a coffee around the corner. This is also good for your dog, as many dogs stay calmer when their owners aren't in sight. If you're driving, allow a few extra minutes to find a parking space during peak times.

The Full Groom starts at 79 € and takes 90 to 180 minutes, the Mini Groom starts at 59 €. We will give you the final, binding price after a personal assessment before the grooming begins. You only pay on collection, using cash, debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, we charge 70 percent of the price and issue an invoice. You can book online 24/7 and directly choose the groomer that best suits your dog.
