Where exactly is the dog groomer in Charlottenburg located?
Giesebrechtstraße branches off from Kurfürstendamm and is one of the quiet residential streets in the west of Charlottenburg. Our number 2 is right at the beginning of the street, so you are just a few steps away from Kurfürstendamm. Heading north, you can also easily walk to Wilmersdorfer Straße with all its shops. The neighbourhood between these two streets is full of cafes, restaurants and small shops.
This is really handy for you, because a Full Grooming takes 90 to 180 minutes. You don't have to sit in the salon or drive home during this time. Many owners grab a coffee around the corner, do some shopping or go out to eat. As soon as your dog is ready, we will get in touch and you can come pick them up.
We have been working at this location since 2022 and know the neighbourhood well. From Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf, you can easily reach us on foot or by bike. If you are travelling from other parts of Berlin, you can also find us easily by U-Bahn, bus, and car. Travel times from Westend, Halensee, and Wilmersdorf, all prices, and the team can be found on the dog grooming salon Charlottenburg page.

What makes GroomRoom stand out from the outside and inside
Our shop window is transparent, and that's on purpose: you're welcome to watch us work with your dog from the outside at any time. We have nothing to hide and want you to leave feeling completely at ease. Many owners use their waiting time to take a peek through the window before heading out into the neighbourhood.
We avoid overbooking in the salon, so the atmosphere is calm and no dog has to wait long. We treat anxious pets sensitively, taking breaks for as long as necessary. We have a team of six women, each with their own speciality. Nata is a Top Groomer with over ten years of experience, Nathalie is Head Stylist for poodles and bichons. Alina takes care of Pomeranians, standard poodles and large breeds as a Senior Groomer. Kateryna and Kristina work as Junior Groomers under supervision, Kristina has a special touch for anxious dogs. You can find out more about the team and their specialities on our about us page.
When it comes to products, we rely on pH-neutral natural products from LT and Ecopets, meaning care products without harsh additives. We cut with Aesculap cutting tools, and your dog is bathed in the Hydra tub. We have 5.0 stars from over 290 reviews on Google, and we're proud of that.
What services do we offer and how much do they cost?
The prices below are starting prices including VAT, valid as of September 2026. We'll give you a binding final price before the appointment, once we've assessed your dog in person. You can find a full overview of all details and potential surcharges on our prices page.

Hand-stripping is the technique for Terriers, Schnauzers, Dachshunds and other wire-haired breeds, where the dead topcoat is plucked out.
For individual services, nail clipping starts at 15 euros, paw trimming at 18 euros and ear cleaning at 18 euros. The 4-in-1 combo package covering nails, paws, eyes and the sanitary area is available from 45 euros. Junior Grooming is carried out by our Junior Groomer under supervision at a fixed price. - Wilmersdorf: Brandenburgische Straße leads south from Adenauerplatz into the district, by bus or bike it usually takes less than ten minutes.

- Schöneberg: You can take the U7 directly from Bayerischer Platz to Adenauerplatz without changing, the journey takes about ten minutes.
- Westend: Driving via Kaiserdamm takes about ten to 15 minutes, and there's parking available on Brandenburgische Straße.
- Grunewald: Driving via Hubertusallee gets you to Kurfürstendamm in about ten minutes, or a bit longer by bus.
It's also worth the trip from districts further away if you're looking for a highly rated salon. Many owners are happy to travel a bit further for a good dog grooming salon. You can find out what makes a great salon in our article Best dog grooming salon Berlin.
Your first visit to the dog groomer in Charlottenburg
If it's your first time, we recommend popping in for a quick consultation without an appointment, ideally on a weekday morning. This gives your dog a chance to get used to the salon, the smells and the groomer, while we can realistically assess what needs doing. Afterwards, you can book the right grooming appointment online or directly in the salon. We welcome puppies for their first introductory visit after their second vaccination to ensure a relaxed start.
A regular routine makes every future visit easier for both you and your dog. Breeds with continuously growing coats like Poodles, Doodles, Bichons or Shih Tzus are best groomed every six to eight weeks. Short-haired dogs need a salon visit every eight to twelve weeks, while Pomeranians and Spitzes should come every six to ten weeks. You can read more about what you need to know before your first appointment in our article First visit to the dog groomer.
Do you have any questions about getting here, parking or what happens at your first appointment? You can find the process and preparation tips on the Process and Preparation page. Just get in touch via our contact page or simply pop into the salon on weekdays. If you'd like to schedule your appointment right away, you can book your appointment online.
