No dog grooming salon in Neukölln, but a direct line
We don't have a branch in Neukölln; every appointment takes place at our salon in Charlottenburg. There are dog grooming salons in the borough itself, and for many owners, a short journey is the most important thing. However, if you're specifically looking for a dog groomer for a Poodle, Doodle or Pomeranian, you'll often gladly make the trip. The U7 makes this decision easy, because your dog doesn't have to change trains on the way.
We've been grooming dogs at this location between Kurfürstendamm and Wilmersdorfer Straße since 2022. Our shop window is transparent, so you can watch from the outside at any time. We don't double-book appointments, which keeps the salon calm and quiet.
How far is the journey from Neukölln to us?
The journey is longer than from neighbouring boroughs, but it's still easy to plan. These times are rough estimates without traffic jams or waiting times on the platform.
- Hermannplatz or Rathaus Neukölln: U7 straight to Adenauerplatz, then a five-minute walk, totalling around 25 to 30 minutes.
- Karl-Marx-Straße and Bahnhof Neukölln: Here too, you hop straight on the U7 towards Rathaus Spandau, and at Bahnhof Neukölln you can also connect from the Ringbahn.
- Britz, Buckow and Rudow: The U7 also runs straight through without changing, but you'll be on the train for a few more stops.
- Car: Via the A100, you can reach City West in about 30 minutes without traffic.
There is parking directly on Giesebrechtstraße and the surrounding side streets. If it gets busy, Brandenburgische Straße is your best bet. To avoid any construction work on the U7, just take a quick look at the latest travel updates.
Dog grooming Berlin: Coat care for Neukölln dogs from Tempelhofer Feld to the salon
Many Neukölln dogs enjoy their walks at Tempelhofer Feld, Hasenheide or Körnerpark. Open meadows and sandy paths are great for dogs, but less so for long coats. Dust settles into the undercoat, the soft, dense layer of fur right next to the skin. If it isn't brushed out regularly, it mats into solid clumps.
In Reuterkiez, Schillerkiez or around Rixdorf, dogs usually live in flats with little space for brushing. That's why a regular salon appointment every six to eight weeks is worth it for breeds with continuously growing coats. Short-haired dogs do well with a visit every eight to twelve weeks. We explain what you can do about knots at home in our article Matted dog, what to do?.
Dog grooming salon Berlin: What your dog experiences with us
Before you travel across the city with your dog, you'll want to know what's waiting at the other end of the U7. With us, every dog gets a groomer who focuses entirely on them. They are bathed in the Hydra tub using pH-neutral natural products from LT and Ecopets. We cut using tools from Aesculap.
Anxious dogs can take as many breaks as they need with us. For very anxious or defensive dogs, we can schedule extra time and a second person by arrangement. We describe how we work with nervous dogs in the article Anxious dog at the dog groomer.

Getting back to Neukölln easily after grooming
A full groom takes 90 to 180 minutes, during which time it's best to wait in the neighbourhood. You'll find cafes and shops around Kurfürstendamm and Wilmersdorfer Straße. We'll get in touch as soon as your dog is ready and show you the result. You only pay on collection, in cash, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Save the walk across Tempelhofer Feld for the next day. Freshly bathed coats pick up sand and dust particularly quickly, a blanket in your bag protects it on the journey home.
Many dogs are tired after grooming and like to lie quietly on their blanket on the train. If you have any questions about getting here or about coats beforehand, you can find all the ways to reach us on our contact page.
